The output options matter: we support downloading individual PDF ranges as single files, downloading every page as its own PDF in a ZIP, or extracting a subset of pages into a new single PDF. The ZIP encoder runs natively in the browser (no external library), so the download triggers immediately when splitting completes. Once you have the pieces you need, use our PDF merger to recombine them in any order.

Yes — use the "Every N pages" mode to divide a 60-page PDF into 10-page chunks automatically. Each chunk downloads as a separate PDF in a ZIP.

Will the split PDF preserve bookmarks and annotations?

Bookmarks that point to retained pages are preserved. Bookmarks pointing to removed pages are dropped. Annotations and form fields on included pages are preserved.
